Mimir awarded Best of Show 2023 by TVBEurope
At this year's NAB Show, we secured another award for Mimir, with the Best of Show 2023 TVBEurope award.
The annual awards recognise outstanding products and solutions from the show floor at NAB each year, with an array of Future’s media technology facing brands participating, including TVBEurope, Broadcasting and Cable, TVTech, Radio World, Sound & Video Contractor, Next TV, and Mix.

Mimir is the tool of choice for anyone transitioning from on-premise to the cloud or looking to modernise their existing media infrastructure and workflows. Mimir can fill the gap of several legacy systems for media ingest, production asset management, media asset management, archive and backup in a cloud environment, a hybrid cloud or even with on-premise infrastructure. Mimir is also a transcoding platform and tool for collaboration, sharing and comments.
Since its launch in 2019, media houses, production companies, news agencies and broadcasters have embraced Mimir for their media cloud archive and backup, AI-assisted automatic metadata logging, video collaboration and sharing, PAM and MAP needs, live feed integrations, and more. Customers include, amongst others, The New York Times, blinx, Formula E, Hilton, Deutsche Press-Agentur, GB News, NRK, Sky News Australia, TV 2 FYN, and WHO, and is soon counting 60 customers worldwide.
Mimir is created from scratch on cloud technology without the traditional legacy of on-premise, so its deployment and not at least update cycle without downtime adapt to modern requirements of continuous updates.
Mjoll has certified a range of integration partners for Mimir and support technologies for an enhanced workflow, including NDI support and using ChatGPT to create video content descriptions automatically.
