Press release, Bergen, Norway, April 21, 2022.
Cloud media collaboration tool Mimir by Mjoll makes its debut at the NAB Show in Las Vegas April 2022. Visit the company in North Hall, stand N2038.
“Mjoll offers tools for storytellers and production staff built for collaboration. At this year's NAB Show, Mjoll will unveil its new Live features in Mimir, where the integrations with AWS and Adobe are central,” says Håvard Myklebust, CEO of Fonn Group and Chairman of the Board in Mjoll and 7Mountains.
Mjoll to debut new Live features of Mimir
Mjoll will demonstrate Mimir with new live video features, improved collaboration and workflow features, and its new web browser user interface.
Mimir now has unique collaboration tools for editors, centralized Adobe Premiere Pro project templates and syncing of Premiere projects. With Mimir, users can access all their media content and projects from laptops with Internet access. Users can work on high-res or low-res versions of assets and work with partially downloaded video content to save time and transfer costs. Projects can be finished in the field by rendering the high-resolution version back home.
For its new Live features in the cloud, Mimir can now control AWS Elemental Live to support customers who want to minimize their on-premise infrastructure and save costs. Mimir has also integrated Trint for live transcription. Mimir users can control their live schedules with tight integration to Adobe Premiere Pro for their editing projects.
Other news for Mimir is storage on AWS Glacier Instant Retrieval for quick restore of media assets, new MOS integrations for newsroom control room systems, iFrame hosting, and further integration possibilities for creating custom panels inside Mimir.
Software company Mjoll is part of the technology group Fonn Group and the inventors of Mimir. Mimir is a modern video collaboration platform for professionals that runs in the cloud.
